December 27, 2004 13:56 - Helpful After Christmas Tips
Now is the time to get organized for next year's Christmas Season. I have great tips for after Christmas. Start now and make life much easier when you unpack your Christmas decorations next year.- If you have a real Christmas tree this year, check with local authorities on how you can drop your tree off to be mulched.
- Check out the fantastic sales at retail stores for bargains on Christmas ornaments. This is a good time to think of a theme for next year's Christmas tree. Don't be afraid to visit pricey department stores. They have great deals too.
- While packing up your outdoor decorations, be sure to check all electrical cords. Make sure they are in tip-top shape for next time. Wrap your Christmas lights neatly.
- This is a good time to clear out old Christmas crafts materials. Don't keep things that you are not using or don't intend on using.
- It is never too late or early to give away Christmas decorations to those in need. If you buy new ornaments or Christmas decorations, give away your old ones to charity. Be sure they are in good shape and still look good.
You'll be happy you followed these tips when next Christmas rolls around.
