Christmas Ribbons Add A Special Touch To Your Decorations

You can never have too many Christmas ribbons.

They can make your home extra special for the holidays.

You can use:

  • Tulle
  • Wire ribbon
  • Satin ribbon
  • Fabric
  • Lace
  • Grosgrain ribbon
  • Curling ribbon
  • Self-sticking ribbon

You can use them to embellish:

  • Dining Chairs
  • Christmas trees
  • Garlands
  • As a Christmas tree topper
  • The front door
  • Teddy bears
  • Clocks
  • Centerpieces
  • Plants
  • Lamps

Here are a few suggestions:

  • Ribbon Chain Garland

Cut off pieces of self-sticking ribbon to desired length plus one inch for overlapping. Make a loop, wet the end and stick together. Continue making loops in a chain until you get the length you want for your garland.

  • Festive Dining Chairs

Use large, wide ribbon and tie a bow on the back of each of your dining chairs. You could also do this on any table legs.

Hint: Do one or the other (table or chairs) and not every one in the house.

  • Curling Ribbon Centerpiece

Use a large clear bowl (such as a fish bowl or a tall straight clear vase). Curl enough pieces of ribbon to fill up the bowl or vase.

Hint: Metallic ribbon would be very pretty.

  • Christmas Tree Topper

Tie wire ribbon into a bow. Cut inverted "v" into tails. Shape and place on top of the Christmas tree.

  • Christmas Ribbon Ornaments

Curl metallic ribbon entire length. Hang on tree. No hooks are required.

There are many, many ways to use ribbon. We hope this helps you think of more.
