Christmas wreaths are not only great on the front door; they look fabulous on a mantel, over a doorway or on any wall in your home. Greens are a classic material to make wreaths.

Here are some tips to keep the greenery in your wreath fresh:

Choose long-needle pines (they’re longer lasting)

Condition your greenery before using. Cut the ends of stems on an angle and crush with a hammer. Soak in room temperature water for a few hours.
